"Contemporary world's architecture" is a peer-reviewed Open Access academic periodical, one of the leading journals in the field of the contemporary architecture and urban planning. It is a compilation of academic works that contains the results of the most recent research in contemporary architecture and urban planning of different countries of the world, proceedings of the annual scientific conference "Contemporary Architecture of the World: The Main Processes and Directions of Development", as well as articles by undergraduate and graduate students of specialized departments of higher educational institutions.

The periodical has been published since 2011 by the Scientific Research Institute of Theory and History of Architecture and Urban Planning (NIITIAG), branch of the Central Institute for Research and Design of the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation. It is published twice annually since 2016.
